An iconic pattern, which appeared heavily in late 50's and 60's. Created by architect Edward Durell Stone, designer of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, he famously used them on the facade of the American Embassy in New Delhi.
A testament to the staying power of timeless design, the Empress breeze block is making a dramatic comeback in current mid century and contemporary design elements.
